Suntem prima companie autorizata in Romania sa ofere servicii de "family banking" de sange placentar.
• Ne-am infiintat in 2004 si am fost autorizati sa functionam un an mai tarziu
• In martie 2006 am efectuat prima recoltare de sange placentar in sistem privat din Romania
• Incepand cu 2007 aria de acoperire a recoltarilor s-a extins in intreaga tara, in prezent, efectuand recoltari pentru toti cetatenii romani stabiliti in tarile Uniunii Europene
• In iulie 2008 am deschis prima banca de celule stem din Romania, la Cluj
• In martie 2009 am inaugurat prima banca de celule stem din Bucuresti
• Am deschis puncte de lucru in Bucuresti si Timisoara si acoperim intreaga tara prin reprezentantii nostri zonali (Cluj, Iasi, Craiova, Constanta, Brasov)
• In septembrie 2009 calitatea serviciilor a fost recunoscuta si certificata prin sistemul de management al calitatii ISO 9001, fiind singura banca de sange placentar din Romania care detine acest certificat
• In noiembrie 2009 am deschis un nou punct de lucru, la Timisoara.

Cord Blood Center Ro are avizul de functionare din partea Agentiei Nationale de Transplant si autorizatie de functionare emisa de Ministerul Sanatatii din Romania, activitatea desfasurandu-se conform standardelor internationale in vigoare existente in domeniul recoltarii si prezervarii de celule stem.
Cord Blood Center RO beneficiaza de experienta partenerilor din Slovacia, organizatie care pregateste transplanturi pentru schimburi internationale inca din anul 1997

CORD BLOOD CENTER RO is the first authorized company in Romania that is able to offer ‘family banking’ placental blood. Our services consist in ensuring perfect conditions for placental blood sampling, processing and storage as a transplant graft.
• CORD BLOOD CENTER RO was founded in 2004 and was awarded the license a year later, by the National Transplant Agency and the Romanian Ministry of Health. It carries out its activities in compliance with the international STEM cells sampling and preserving standards.
• In March 2006, CORD BLOOD CENTER RO performed the first placental blood sampling in Romania.
• Since 2007, samplings have been expanding, covering the whole country. Nowadays we are sampling cord blood for all Romanian citizens settled in the EU countries.
• In July 2008 we opened the first stem cell bank in Romania, in Cluj.
• In March 2009 we opened the first stem cell bank in Bucharest.
• We opened two working points, in Bucharest and Timisoara, and we cover the entire country through our local representatives (Cluj, Iasi, Craiova, Constanta, Brasov).
• In September 2009 the quality of our services has been recognized and certified by the quality management system ISO 9001. Therefore, we were the only placental blood bank in Romania who owns this certificate.
• In November 2009 we opened a new office in Timisoara.

CORD BLOOD CENTER RO was awarded the license by the National Transplant Agency and was authorized to operate by the Romanian Ministry of Health. The work is proceeding according to existing international standards in the field of stem cell harvest and preservation.
CORD BLOOD CENTER RO benefits from the experience of its partners in Slovakia, organization that prepares transplants for international exchanges since 1997.
